London Fashion week day 2 - street style

happy v day.

happy valentines day, or happy hallmark day, the day where showing your other half you love them is much more important than any other day. (excuse me if i sound bitter my other half is up North but he did send me a lovely card in french.) Love today is usually shown through a tacky I <3 U teddy bear, or with a droopy bouquet of flowers and a box of sainsburys best chocolates, beautiful. 

 More importantly February the 14th is the starting day of LFW AW14 (so much more exciting).

first shiny post, portraits of my lovely friend Molly

these are some basic stripped down portraits of my lovely friend Molly, which I thought would make a lovely first post. Molly is a fellow photographer and creator and has the best cheekbones plus collection of quirky tattoos which make her a great model. I took these photos on my Canon 550d with a 50mm lense (the lense for portraits).The light was shit as it was raining (again) but hey there's always photoshop. 

Ramblings

my name is charlie and i take photos, that's probably the most straight forward statement i have made in my entire life (i am not a straight forward person). i'm an art student (enter multiple cliches) studying in London, i like to wander about as i'm a bit of a nomad and take a lot of pictures. I've started up this blog for multiple reasons. Numero Uno, my life is a bit of a mess and i have decided that i need to be more consistent, create some form of online babbling mess with an eventual structure. Numero Dos I have just applied to Intern at an incredible magazine (fingers crossed) one of those chunky fashion bibles you spend all your pocket money on to buy. Finally Numero Tres I have way too much free time at the moment, thats not spent re organizing my wardrobe, watching girls or pretending to myself that yes I will go to the gym in a bit. So if that sounds vaguely interesting to you, keep an eye on this space and I will try my very best to let you know how its going.
