French Connection AW14 Press day

I went to the french connection AW14 press day, they had the most beautiful clothes on show, my personal favourite the baby blue coat and some of the full length sequinned dresses that i know i'd never wear i just like to hoard shiny objects. Here are a few photos I took and part of the press release that explains the inspiration behind their AW14 collection.

PREY OF LONDON AW14 DESIGNER TO WATCH

one of my new designers i've discovered while interning, I literally want to buy everything from their AW14 collection. The model with David Bowie esque hair paired with the grimy car park location, works perfectly to show of the edgy hipster feel to the collection. The look of someone elses girlfriend that you can't have, mixed with an alien from outer space where life is so much cooler.

interning update

basically just wanted to post an update, although I am interning at a great magazine and there is loads of interesting things happening for confidentiality reasons as the magazine works months in advance of every issue, I am not allowed to post about whats happening just a few occasional snaps, just so you all know that i'm not being lazy just behaving for once. If you want to go into fashion within the magazine industry interning is a great way (and almost essential way) of breaking into the industry and I would really recommend it.

onto other things I am off to Budapest tomorrow so wont be posting for a while, expect to see a load of pictures when i'm back though!
